WebIf you're in Lone Pine, just take Whitney Portal Road 'til it ends in a campsite (which is also the trailhead if you plan to hike Mount Whitney) and there's the waterfall to the right. We parked in one of the many available spots and were able to just walk up along the waterfall to get a closer look.
