As for the iPhone, I believe DashBoss uses the ELM bluetooth adapter although I may be wrong. And I think Forscan also has software for the iPhone just not sure if it can do a buzz test or not.

I don't plan on buying any tuners or other code readers either. I read the dash boss doesn't the ficm and stuff like that. I'm pretty new to diesel's in general. Can you guys help me out? WebJul 11, 2014 · My brother is getting the P0871 code on his 07.5 cummins diesel with the 68RFE. He does have 260,000 miles on original tranny. All highway miles. Anyway we are running a DashBoss scanner on it and he's getting 2 different temps on the tranny. Tranny temp at 143 degrees and tranny oil temp shows 290 degrees.
