WebMar 20, 2024 · As first spotted by Android Police, Google is aiming to make Live Caption available in its Chromebooks sometime soon. A code referring to this feature has been found in the Chromium Gerrit, which is where new Chrome OS features are found before they roll out to stable releases. WebMay 6, 2024 · Google has come one step closer to adding the Live Caption feature to its web browser, Google Chrome. A few months back, a commit hinting at the existence of the feature was spotted on Chromium Gerrit and now, the flag to enable the feature is available in the latest build of Chrome Canary.
